<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Times-Roman; color: windowtext;" lang="EN-US">Dónal Lunny, founding member of Planxty, the Bothy Band and Moving Hearts needs very little introduction. Considered to be one of the more influential people in the renaissance of Irish music in the last half century, Donal Lunny has been playing Irish music for most of that time. He has been producing albums of Irish musicians and singers since the &#8217;70s and has written music for many films and theatre productions. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Times-Roman; color: windowtext;" lang="EN-US">Pádraig Rynne is regarded as one of the finest concertina players in Irish music today being described by The Irish alphabet stew as &#8220;one of the freshest sounds in Irish music&#8221;.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Times-Roman; color: windowtext;" lang="EN-US">Born in County Clare, Pádraig grew up in a house steeped in Traditional Irish Music. In his early years Pádraig won five all Ireland titles as well as three Oireachtas titles. </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Times-Roman; color: windowtext;" lang="EN-US">John Mc Sherry is hailed as one of the finest exponents of the art of uilleann piping in the world today – “a true master” – Irish Music Magazine. Described as being “at the forefront of modern innovation” – </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Times-Roman; color: windowtext;" lang="EN-US">John has toured the world as both a solo performer and a member of several outstanding bands. He was a founding member of top trad bands Tamalin’, ‘Lúnasa’ and ‘At First Light’ as well as lead instrumentalist with Dónal Lunny’s ground-breaking supergroup ‘Coolfin’, which also included Sharon Shannon. </span></p>

As well as being a member of award winning Trad Superstars “Altan” he has collaborated with some of the finest musicians in the world. Hailing from France is a talented harpist,fiddler,pianist and vocalist who has embraced into Irish Traditional Music circles over the past number of years. <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Times-Roman; color: windowtext;">Well-known for his formidable abilities on the bouzouki, mandolin and guitar, Brendan O’ Regan has a sterling reputation as a composer/musician in Ireland and has been a member of such influential groups as De Dannan and the Dolores Keane Band. He has recorded and worked with almost every well-known Irish musician, including Martin O’ Connor, Sharon Shannon, Mary Black, Matt Molloy, Vinnie Kilduff, Gerry O’Connor and also with John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, The Waterboys and more. </span></p>

His album with Séamus Quinn Slán le Loch Eírne (‘Farewell to Lough Erne’), Produced by Ciaran Curran of Altan, has had much critical acclaim. Over the<span> </span>years he has established himself as one of the great flute players of the past 2 decades with regular sessions/collaborations with many of the great Irish Musicians of our times. <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Times-Roman; color: windowtext;" lang="EN-US">Dublin-born flute player Conor Byrne first explored traditional music through whistle lessons and soon moved on to flute lessons with Paul McGrattan, Cian O’Sullivan and the late Frankie Kennedy. In 1998, he released Wind Dancer, his debut solo album produced by Luka Bloom and featuring Máire Breathnach, Christy Moore, Cathy Jordan and Liam Ó Maonlaí. He has performed with musicians including Anuna, Christy Moore, Luka Bloom, Eimear Quinn, Paul Brady and Ronnie Drew. Conor released critically acclaimed duo album ‘Bavan’ with Belfast fiddler Méabh O’Hare, which was followed by tours of Europe, Asia, and the US.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: Times-Roman; color: windowtext;" lang="EN-US">Michelle O’Brien, from County Clare, learned her music from acclaimed music teacher Frank Custy at primary school and was then taken under the wing of her neighbour, the legendary Tommy Peoples. It is Tommy who became Michelle’s main influence and his distinctive style of playing can be heard in her music. Michelle moved to Dublin in the 90’s and is an influential member of the Dublin traditional music scene ever since. Michelle has an All-Ireland Fiddle title and Pan-Celtic fiddle title to her credit and is a much sought after tutor of the fiddle, teaching at the Irish World Academy of Music<span> </span>and Dance, Limerick and at many Festivals throughout Ireland and Europe. She is currently ‘musician in residence’ for Wicklow Arts Council.</span></p>

Both are well respected Donegal fiddlers, Derek from the parish of Glencolmcille, Tara from Glenties.</span></p>

He learned from his father and from Micheal Ó Coistealbha a local musician who taught him the double row system of box playing (B/C). At the age of eleven, he won the Slógadh and Fleadh Ceoil All-Irelands&#8217; on the button accordion. . His latest album “Aisling Yoshua”<span> </span>Won the 2011 Ticket Awards for Best Trad Album.</span></p>
