Kieran Goss, the acclaimed singer/songwriter whom country legend Don Williams calls “one of the most gifted performers around today” Will perform an intimate concert in “Ionad Cois Locha” as part of a nationwide tour to celebrate the release of his new album, ‘I’ll Be Seeing You’.
This will be the eighth solo album from the multi-platinum selling Goss and ‘I’ll Be Seeing You’ has already earned early praise as “a triumphant return to form” and “an acoustic masterpiece”
Long hailed as one of Ireland’s leading songwriters and performers, over the last twenty years Kieran Goss has quietly and consistently delivered songs of rare quality and his wonderful, deceptively simple melodies have won him fans across the globe. But while his albums have made him a star, his live shows have made him a legend. Live on stage is where Kieran Goss really shines.
For his Irish tour, Kieran will be accompanied on stage by Gareth Hughes on double bass and his wife, Ann Kinsella, on backing vocals. Performing songs from the new album along with hits such as ‘Out Of My Head’ and ‘Reasons To Leave’, this acoustic trio delivers a performance that has all the power and dynamics of a band while still retaining the intimacy of a solo show. Anyone who saw Kieran and his trio on their last sold out shows in 2006 will testify that this show is more than just an evening of great songs sung from the heart, all delivered with easy grace and humour, it’s an unforgettable and uplifting night out.
“The sense of fun is tremendous, the playing first rate and the songs are sheer quality. The encores were genuine, but only because the man is too.”
The Irish Times
“I’ve toured with Kieran and watched him perform many times. I’ve seen him win the hearts of everyone in the room, not just with his great songs and instinctive musicality, but with his warmth and humour. It’s the performance of an artist at the top of his game, delivered with intelligence and integrity… Kieran Goss is one of Ireland’s national treasures.”
