Grammy nominated Texan singer songwriter Eliza Gilkyson makes a welcome return to Ionad Cois Locha.
Recognised as one of the top female songwriters in the USA award winning Eliza Gikyson writes and performs with a passion and social conscience about all the issues we want to voice,she has the gift of saying exactly what we wish we’d said ourselves. The Daughter of legendary songwriter “Terry Gilkyson” who’s songs have been covered by artists as diverse as Dean Martin, Johnny Cash["Memories Are Made of This"] and the White Stripes ["Look Me Over Closely"] and of course [”Bare Necessities” from the movie,Jungle Book} Eliza grew up with music all around her.Her concert in 2008 was one of the highlights of the year so its a great chance to see and hear her again in the North West.
